Adult rate – biggest real term rise in 7 years!

Adult rate over 21 year old from £6.50 will increase to £6.70 per hour

Development rate 18 – 20 year old from £5.13 will increase to £5.30 per hour

Young workers rate below 18 but above the compulsory school age

from £3.79 will increase to £3.87 per hour

Apprentice rate under 19 or those aged 19 and over but in the first year of their apprenticeship from £2.73 will increase to £3.30 per hour.
