Equality Bill

Amendments to the Equality Bill have been debated in parliament as it reaches committee stage.

The Bill is expected to come into force by autumn 2010, is set to replace nine laws with one single Act in a bid to make it easier for employers and staff to promote diversity in the workplace and eradicate the gender pay gap.
